Our Community

England Does The Daily Mile

We are hosting our first national event day in schools and across social media on Friday 30th April, anytime between 09:00-15:00.

We want as many primary schools or bubbles around England to get moving on the same day, to celebrate the positive benefits that daily activity can have on our mental health.

Join us, along with the rest of the nation!

Our Ambassador, Eliud Kipchoge

Eliud Kipchoge is the world’s fastest marathon runner! On 12th October 2019 in Vienna, Austria, the Kenyan athlete became the first person ever to run a marathon in under two hours when he achieved the superhuman time of 1:59:40:2.

We’re excited that Eliud is working with The Daily Mile to get even more schools and nurseries signed up around the world. Like Eliud, The Daily Mile Foundation believes “No Human Is Limited” and wants to ensure every child has the opportunity to enjoy being physically active, outside with their friends.
