ABOUT ME

We hear so much about the positive impact of The Daily Mile, and as someone who is passionate about science and research, I'm curious to pin down the facts and investigate the benefits The Daily Mile could bring to schools across the world - That's why I work with Universities to develop the Science base for The Daily Mile. If you are interested in research or planning to study The Daily Mile please drop me an email, I would love to hear from you.

ABOUT ME

Sport has always been a massive part of my life and I appreciate the immense value of exercise on many different levels: a stress-buster, a social platform, fitness and all-round well-being. I have been lucky enough to participate in a number of big sporting events in recent years and the buzz which I take away from these has inspired me to provide children with this opportunity – The Daily Mile is the perfect way to get children active and involved from a young age!

ABOUT ME

Originally from Australia, my love of being outdoors is inspired by a sunny, active childhood. I have seen first-hand the benefits of daily physical activity on the mental heath and overall wellbeing of children, which is why I'm passionate about delivering a non competitive form of physical activity to every child on the planet - The Daily Mile. Please don't hesitate to get in contact, if you'd like to know more.

ABOUT ME

I am passionate about sport and physical activity and am totally committed to the important part it must play in improving the health of the nation. I am grateful to have been brought up in an active family where sport played a significant part of my life and also that I have been fortunate to have developed a career in sport and physical activity over the last 20 years. I look forward to working with partners across Scotland to deliver on the Scottish Government’s ambition of becoming the first Daily Mile Nation.
